About Us
I was blessed to be born into a long line of cooks and bakers. Our mom started baking at an early age with her father; she continued the tradition with my sister and me. She taught us the meaning, character, and integrity of "scratch" baking, using only the best and freshest ingredients available to us.
One of my first and most fond baking memories was around the age of five (5). I remember being in the kitchen (standing on a chair) eager to crack an egg, pour in some flour; anything just to say "I did that." Ooh...the joy of creating something so fragrant, beautiful, and edible was miraculous to me.
The birth of a business: Sometimes the stressors of life will push and encourage you to return to your "happy" place, a place where creativity lives, and that's just what happened to us. The building of a passion: My husband and I started taking treats to our jobs, getting countless orders to the point of him saying, "I think we should start a business." Here we are, come, grow with us, and be a part of this wonderful journey.
